Washington, DC-based designer Meredith Leach launched the ever-versatile line of MERE handbags in the fall of 2007. Fusing form and function, Meredith has created a unique line of bags with the finest craftsmanship in rich Italian leather.

Born and raised in Alabama, Meredith moved to Washington in her early twenties to pursue a career in interior design. For the past several years, Meredith has been working for one of the top interior design firms in the country. There she has honed her skills as a designer and the art of completing a look.

The inspiration for her designs comes from the pinnacle of her social days as a twentysomething, the style and influence of her Southern roots, and the convenience and necessity that her urban lifestyle demands.
